The Role

The Senior FP&A Business Partner is focussed on the cost side of the organisation and helps shape the company’s targets and strategy by creating transparency upon the financial implication of decisions made by business partners.  The role focuses on Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Analysis of strategic decisions, KPI tracking and partnering with the business to drive effective results. 

You will also:

  • Undertake in-depth analysis, interpret data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
  • Conduct investment appraisals and post-investment evaluation
  • Support the business to understand the financial implications of their decisions
  • Support Executive members with ad hoc analysis/presentations to drive strategic and tactical decisions within their departments
  • Create transparency on the drivers of our budget and forecast
  • Work closely with the Management Accountant team to understand the impact of actuals
  • Provide commentary on how actuals compare with expectations

To be considered as Senior FP&A Business Partner, you will need:


  • Several years post qualified Accountant experience in a financially controlled environment
  • Ability to deliver to strict/tight reporting deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Effective Networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
