Sustainability at Premium Credit
Sustainability is about doing the right thing, by making sure the things we do as a business do not negatively impact the environment, community or society as a whole.
Our sustainability strategy focuses on four pillars; Our Planet, Our Colleagues, Our Customers and Partners and Our Responsibility.
In July 2025 we achieved the Silver Ecovadis Sustainability Award Top 15%. This was achieved through providing evidence of policies, measures and actions in four key areas; Human Rights and Labour, Ethics, Environment and Sustainable Procurement.
Our Planet 🌍
Our Leatherhead office encourages recycling and we have offered information and training to colleagues to help them live more sustainably. We are also focusing on moving our car fleet to electric or hybrid by 2030 and we're on target to achieve this.
Our Colleagues 🧔
We encourage all colleagues to utilise their volunteering days, either through company organised events, or by supporting local charities that are close to their heart. This year we partnered with QEF a disability charity based in Surrey. Our colleagues supported 6 dates to complete gardening work for the charity. A fantastic experience for all involved to support this charity as well as to spend time with colleagues from across the business.
We value equity, diversity and inclusion and have 9 employee resource groups who help to bring us together to celebrate events, share information, develop our knowledge and form a greater understanding of how our differences make us unique.
Our Customers and Partners 🤝
Through our partners we can have a positive impact on society. We have a team of Learning and Development Advisors who regularly support training for our partners to ensure that the products we provide are suitable for our customers. We pride ourselves on our partner relationships and regularly review our products against regulatory guidelines to ensure we offer fair value.
Our Responsibility 👩🏽🏫
We ensure that we work in an ethical manner in all dealings. We action this through sustainable procurement processes, embedding our Code of Ethics and providing regular training to colleagues.
